"This newfound closeness to the natural world has had a remarkable impact on my mental health and overall well-being."

Ever since moving to Playa Venao, after living in Panama City for most of my life, I found a sense of inner peace and contentment that I had lost in the hustle of city life. In the simplicity of beach living, I discovered that true wealth lies not in material possessions but in the richness of experiences and the beauty of the world around us.

Playa Venao has been a transformative experience for me. Since arriving, I have felt a much deeper connection to nature than ever before. My daily routine has shifted to revolve around nature, which is now an integral part of my everyday life.

Growing up in Canada, some of my childhood memories were spent at our family cottage on Lake Simoe, in southern Ontario, Canada.

One particular memory that stands out in my mind: I was floating in the cool, clear waters. And despite my fear of water, I was overcome with a sense of awareness and appreciation.

“It was my first profound experience with nature and its power within me.”

“I was very disconnected with myself and, I needed to find my purpose, something had to change in my life.”

When I lived in the city my routine looked much different than it does now. I would suffer from anxiety, lack of motivation, and unhappiness.

Surrounding myself with nature and the most enlightened, kind people, has made me reconnect with myself and, it has profoundly impacted my mental, emotional, and physical health.

By simply being more present it lifted my mood, creative side, and intuition. Staying grounded provides me with a sense of tranquility like never before.

I want to inspire others to spend more time connecting with nature and appreciating the beauty of life, being more adventurous, and taking outdoor walks. I encourage taking a moment every day to be still and conscious of all things given to us by the creator.

Let nature guide you as you navigate life’s paths, embracing growth, mindfulness, and joy, along the way.

“I’ve come to realize, that we’re deeply connected to source in ways that we cannot fully comprehend.”

From little things like turning the lights off when I leave a room, to larger things like eliminating meat from my diet, there are plenty of personal decisions we can make together to improve our environment.

We can start by carrying a garbage bag and collecting trash from beaches occasionally. By promoting eco-friendly habits, and supporting sustainable businesses, we can collectively protect Pacha Mama, and ensure a cleaner and safer world for all.
