Muhammad Bin Abdullah

“No matter where you go, people are pretty much the same.”

It all began for me as an international student in the UK. It was a really strange time, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. I had to learn the hard way, I was all over the place while chasing the life I had imagined for myself.

Fast forward to the following year, I started to make friends but finally tried new things, found myself, and explored the wonders in my early twenties. It was undoubtedly the most critical turning point in my life.

“I want to leverage my opportunity to see the world and mix with people from all walks of life.”

I also traveled a lot and being able to see the world I realized one thing. We might look different or speak different languages, but deep down, we’re all just humans trying to live our lives. And the best part is, we can always get along with each other if we try!

Throughout my entire life in the UK, I have always, I mean always kept my circle of friends with international students because that is the main reason why I left my home.

“I strongly believe that everyone has a different clock”.

Now let’s get to the phase, where everybody starts to apply for jobs, get internships, or even start their postgraduate year. Things became so overwhelming for me when I saw my friends who had achieved their goals, grasped what they wanted, and were finally able to live their dreams.

With many uncertainties involved, I told myself ‘Be patient and your time will come soon’. Then I stopped comparing myself with others. To grow and self-develop, you really need to put yourself out there and be brave, always keep trying, and not give up.

“Accept the fact that there will be ups and downs all the time in life.”

Love, Muhammad,

(I go my MO in the UK)
