“I knew all my life that I wanted to dedicate myself to art, I started like any girl, with painting.”

My family noticed a gift in me and from a very young age, they put me in art schools. I dedicated my entire high school years to photography.

I was able to work in 2016 as a photographer with a swimwear store called “Espejo de Medusa”, the first time I entered the store I was totally in love. The owners were the two women who inspired me to have my own store.

“I decided to take a tailoring and pattern-making course called Rincon de Moda. This was where my passion for sewing began.”

In 2019 I decided to create my clothing store which at that time was called Mala Shop, with the help of my sewing teacher: Ruth Leal. It was not until 2020 that, thanks to the pandemic, I had to reinvent myself and decided to change the name of the store to PITI SHOP.

“Piti is the nickname that my family has called me since I was a baby.”

PITI SHOP is the medium I use to express myself, where I can show the world that I am a free woman who dares, inspiring more women to dare to dress as they want no matter what others say.

“Even if it takes so long for that to happen, at least I am happy to leave my grain of sand in this world.”

At the beginning of 2023, I released my first collection of upcycle clothing, which was inspired by my time living in the Panamanian beach club, “Playa Venao”. My biggest dream is for my brand to reach many people and help put an end to fast fashion.
